Millard Byerly began Byerly Aviation near Peoria in the 1930s to fuel his aviation passion. An early barnstormer, he quickly grew the business to include flight instruction, and later, aircraft sales. Over the decades Byerly has sold most single-engine models, and in the 1950s, expanded into Twin Commander sales and service.
Byerly’s grandson, Bruce, is still responsible for aircraft sales, and the business has expanded to include a full range of general aviation services. But what has remained is our commitment to the customer’s needs. We strive to provide great service at a fair price, with a promise to try and do the job right the first time.
